Welcome
We say it every year, but hasn’t Christmas crept up quickly? It seems like one minute we’re lying on a mediterranean beach (or sitting in a rain-sodden Devonshire campsite), and the next we’re looking for the perfect roast turkey recipe.
If you want to add some sparkle to your company’s offices this Christmas, take a look at our fabulous range of trees and decorations at http://www.flora-tec.co.uk/festive.asp.

Christmas is on its way!
The Christmas season is in full swing, and has been all year – well, at Flora-tec’s offices, at least! We began planning this year’s selection of trees and decorations way back in January, and have been busy practising our very special tree decorating technique all summer.
In the height of summer, with the birds singing and sun shining outside, it’s incredibly difficult to visualise what Christmas decorations our customers will want to order. But now that we’ve been supplying trees and decorations for 15 years, we’ve got a bit of a taste for the types of decorations companies like to use. This year, picking up on the trend for monochrome, we’ve introduced our new scheme ‘Black and Silver’.
Don’t forget to order your tree!
With a huge selection of interior and exterior trees, festive garlands and glittery desk displays, Flora-tec takes the hassle out of the festive season. View our Christmas brochure.
If you haven’t yet ordered your corporate Christmas trees and decorations, time is running out! We’re booking up fast, so make sure you place your order before 1st December to guarantee availability. Go straight to the order form.
This year’s top five Christmas trends
1. Crazy colours: blues, turquoises, and even black are all making an appearance this year in corporate offices. We think it’s great that companies are starting to think creatively about their decorations, and really making a statement!
2. Bird of Paradise: who could have predicted that last year’s newcomer would be such a runaway success? It’s a Christmas tree with blue birds and butterflies all over it – not so festive, you might think, but something about the tropical colours really appealed to our customers, and we sold out. We’ve increased our stock this year, so that (hopefully) nobody will be disappointed!
3. Corporate colour schemes: it seems a few organisations love to proudly display their company colours, even on their Christmas tree! This is a great way to give your brand real impact in your offices.
4. Champagne Truffle: we’ve heard of candy canes and chocolate baubles on a tree, but truffles – what an extravagance! Champagne Truffle is actually one of our best-selling colour schemes, and the browns and golds are a really good example of the trend for sophisticated, classy designs this Christmas.
5. Traditional designs: the Red and Gold design scheme is more popular than ever, showing that however wacky the new designs get people still really like good old-fashioned decorations.
BALI awards
We’re proud to announce that we're nominated at this year’s BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries) awards, which are being held on 5th December. The nomination is for Grounds Maintenance work at Handpicked Hotels sites across the country. Fingers crossed!
Don't take our word for it...
This is the second year that GMPTE have ordered a Christmas tree from Flora-tec. Louise Shaw, Marketing Communications Programme Officer at the company says that she’s looking forward to seeing the 12ft Black and Silver decorated tree in the Head Office reception area.
‘We chose Black and Silver because we wanted something that would fit in with our modern office, which has lots of steel, glass and slate, but that would also have a traditional feel to it. The Bird of Paradise received a mixed response last year. Some loved it, but it wasn’t traditional enough for others!’
