Design Brief
When the Bank of Greece moved to their new offices, they required a planting scheme that would complement the ethnic styling of their artwork and black leather furnishings.

Solution
Flora-tec introduced a mixture of tall towers, square containers, small troughs and square desk bowls with a black polished finish.Because of the low light in parts of the building, we also used Kentia Palms and Dracaenas. Instead of fresh flowers, we used a modern square desk bowl planted with Guzmanias.

Colour was added to the boardroom by providing small troughs planted with red Anthurium, and the top dressing in all of the containers is slate.

The chairman of the Bank of Greece loves trees and wanted an olive tree in his office. Unfortunately this was not possible as conditions in the office were not suitable for an olive tree, but we did find an excellent substitute in some beautiful Braided Ficus trees.

Flora-tec has a professional installation team who are aware of the difficulties of installing plants in prestigious offices in the centre of London. Installation was completed early to avoid the parking restrictions, and all containers were cleaned and washed before installation to ensure that the client’s offices were undisturbed.
